VP Access™

Security departments want highly secured facilities secure which only authorized personnel can enter. But most security systems rely using a keypad and entering a code or swiping a card. Know the code or take someone’s card and anyone can get it. The last thing authorized personnel need is another code to remember or have to carry a card with them everywhere they go.

People are trying biometrics, but which one should be used? Fingerprints – sounds good but these have been proven to be easily broken and what happens if you cut or burn your finger? Retina scanning is the most secure but unless you’re the federal government, who can afford it and does anyone really like the idea of getting his or her retina or iris, scanned?

VoiceCertain’s VP Access uses the uniqueness of a person’s voice to authenticate who they are, then provide them access to secured facilities. With VP Access, multiple levels of identity authentication can be used and with each attempted access the user can be provided with different random selected identity challenges. VP Access strengthens secured authentication by identifying “who you say you are” instead of “who you key in you are” as found in typical keypad-based security systems.

Quick … simple … easy to use. That’s what its all about.
